Interpipe reaches a new milestone in Iraq

Following this year’s S.O.C. approval, Interpipe continues its development in Iraq with comprehensive collaboration with the Ministry of Oil in the Republic of Iraq.  One of the steps of such partnership was the organization of a conference for more than 100 representatives of the Ministry of Oil and the largest state oil and gas companies.

Anatolii Marynets, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Iraq, supported the conference, emphasizing that further development of cooperation between Ukrainian and Iraqi companies will have a positive impact on prospects of business relations between our countries.

During the visit, a number of key meetings were held with Acting Iraqi Oil Minister Mr. Hassan Fayad Nima and his deputies, as well as the management team of several oil and gas companies, where importantly Iraqi officials expressed strong interest in Interpipe as one of the approved suppliers of tubular products for the state oil companies.

Andrey Burtsev, Interpipe Middle East regional sales director, said: “Iraq is amongst the leading oil producers in the world. As such there is increasing demand for OCTG pipes, as well as pipes for pipelines. Successful cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and state oil companies in the Republic of Iraq are yet another milestone for Interpipe in its plans to build a stronger presence in the country”.

Interpipe also took part in the "4th Basra Oil and Gas exhibition and conference", where a series of meetings were held with South Oil Company, S.O.C key contractors and other players in the Southern Iraq oil market.
